How it Works
The SonicWALL SSL VPN on UTM solution utilizes the SonicWALL NetExtender software in combination with a SonicWALL UTM appliance. The remote user only needs to have an internet connection and they can access their network through the SonicWALL portal from any web browser. A small (thin client) Active-X component is installed on the remote users system and connectivity is provided according to policies defined on the SonicWALL UTM device. All remote network traffic is processed by SonicWALL�s patented Re-assembly Free Deep Packet Inspection engine and other services on the SonicWALL UTM appliance to ensure the utmost in network protection.
